As Brian explains, if you’re already a fan of Trim-Tex’s Fast Edge Paper bead, picking up a box of the Roll is a no-brainer; it’s essentially the same solution, but more flexible and with no fixed length. Instead, this comes in the form of a 100-foot roll, available in four widths: 2.75”, 3.25”, 3.75” and 4.5”.

All four of these widths can produce perfectly straight, crisp corners — which one you choose has more to do with the jobsite you’re working on than the product itself. For Brian’s crew, they prefer the widest 4.5” Roll because of the extra versatility it provides. If he walks into a job with wonky, crooked framing, the added width gives him a lot more wiggle room to pinch or pull the bead wherever he needs to in order to produce perfectly straight lines with his drywall corners.
