40th AnniversaryLaunching rigid vinyl into the drywall industry in 1970 with the creation of the J Bead, Trim-Tex Inc. has spent 40 years designing and creating reliable drywall finishing products at an affordable price. Founded in 1970, the vinyl J Bead was designed as a replacement for metal bead used by drywall contractors to finish rough drywall ends under doorways and window encasements. Trim-Tex has grown from a 2 person operation working out of a garage to a 220,000 square foot facility, with over 200 products and a fully staffed team of dedicated employees. Our engineering and research team are constantly developing new product ideas while our knowledgeable customer service team is taking orders and shipping the same day.
