The African American History Museum now occupies the last available lot on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. In addition to the exhibition space for African American history and culture, the museum features a venue for ceremonies and performances. To represent traditional African architecture, the building features the Corona, a bronze and glass-panel facade that hangs from the top of the museum.
Trim-Tex Reveal Beads were incorporated into the design to add visual elements to the walls. Vinyl reveals natural flexibility allows up to 1/8" of expansion protection to protect the interior from unsightly cracks. Additionally, Trim-Tex offers pre-mitered intersections to expedite time on projects that require intersecting reveals, saving time on labor intensive mitering.
