Pittsburgh's former trucking yard was transformed into a mixed-use development, located on 11 acres along the Allegheny River. The 3 Crossings development was designed to incorporate the history of the trucking yard while also conforming to the needs of the residents and employees. The 60 million dollar apartment complex features 300 luxury apartments with modern amenities including green space along the riverfront.
Multistory buildings with concrete floors encounter deflection due to the movement the structure experiences under a load. Trim-Tex Wall Mounted Deflection Bead features a flexible gasket that compresses up to 7/16", preventing drywall cracks. The development will save on future maintenance costs by being better protected from visual concerns and structural damage that typically occur in multistory buildings.
