EZ-Backer Drywall Splicer

Perfectly flat walls and ceilings are finally possible with the new EZ-Backer. The EZ-Backer pulls back the edges of the cut end of the drywall creating a tapered edge. This can now be finished as a standard tapered joint. The result is a perfectly flat wall. (See detail to the left) The Splicer installs easily with drywall screws. In-house testing has shown that the tapered edge becomes permanent and will not release or cause cracks in the seam. Can be used everywhere in your project, but is especially useful where a flat wall is a must; such as behind all cabinetry and long drywall runs where seam visibility is most prevalent.

The Bullnose Cleaning Tool is designed to clean compound from the Trim-Tex 3/4" R. Bullnose Outside Corner & 3/4" R. Outside Splayed Bullnose Corner. One quick & efficient tool minimizes sanding on the radius of the bead. Made of long lasting polypropylene, the tool radius actually improves with use.
Tool Maintenance: Light sanding on leading edge as radius deepens.

3/4" & 1 1/2 R. Archway Bullnose Finishing Tool

Finishing archway bullnose has just gotten easier. Use this quality tool with each coat of mud to wipe the radius of 3/4" & 1 1/2" R. Bullnose Archway Corners. The tool cleans off the excess compound while helping to fill the slots with mud as shown to the right.

Wood Bullnose Corner Blocks

To finish 3/4" Bullnose applications, Trim-Tex now stocks poplar stand-alone blocks designed to finish bullnose corners. Can be used with almost any baseboard. Deluxe style can accommodate baseboard up to 5 1/4" tall and 13/16" thick. Standard style can accommodate up to 3 1/2" tall and 9/16" thick.
