The 3 1/2" Crown Molding includes all of the design, engineering and ease of installation features found in our 2 1/2" Crown Molding. This larger, very classy looking crown molding perfectly matches the smaller crown molding. The profiles of both moldings are similar, making the larger molding look like a custom built up crown detail. Combining 3 1/2" Crown Molding in larger rooms and 2 1/2" Crown Molding in smaller rooms maintains a proper sense of scale while preserving the same elegant theme in a home. The 2 1/2" Crown Molding features a modern, elegant design. This decorative trim is made from vinyl specially formulated for this line of products. Installation is simple and takes no more time than would be required to paper tape and completely finish an inside corner. The wall thickness is engineered to provide a perfect balance of rigidness and flexibility allowing the product to absorb some movement from settling, lumber shrinkage and truss uplift.
